We have more than 10,000 pair of comfortable shoes in stock. The brands we represent in our collection are listed below.
We do not sell shoes online because we strongly believe that it is nearly impossible to find a good fit when shoes haven’t been tried on. We want our customers to have happy feet while wearing our shoes, and we have a much higher likelihood of that happening if feet are measured, shoes are tried on, and sizes are checked by our highly-skilled shoe fitters.
This is the first step in our process for finding shoes you’ll love. We have five buyers who together have 115 years of shoe industry and fitting experience. We invest in shoes we determine are constructed well, fit well, priced appropriately, and stylish. We are very, very selective. Mast Shoes has the best collection of high-quality, well-fitting shoes under any one roof in the country.
We do not have our collection online but you can view a list of the brands we represent here on this page.
If you have an inquiry about a specific shoe, please call or email us.
The dress shoes we carry are unique in that they are comfortable to wear. Of the millions of dress shoes made, only a few manufacturers concern themselves with making them comfortable and non-damaging to the foot. We are happy to carry Naot, Taos, and Dansko, and are constantly on the hunt for other dressy options that don’t sacrifice foot health.
No, we do not.
Our primary goal is finding you shoes that fit. The probability of that happening goes way down when ordering shoes we don’t carry. Ordering shoes works best when you’ve had the model before and know the size it was, OR you come in and try shoes that are built on the same footbed as the model you’d like to order.
When we choose shoes for our collection, we focus on finding high quality, structurally sound, good-for-your-feet, stylish options. You can find shoes on our sale rack for as low as $60 and regular price boots for as high as $300. While we always have price in mind when making our merchandising decisions, it is not the only consideration.
No, they are not. New Balance makes hundreds of shoe models for different markets at different price points. The New Balance shoes we carry are designed and developed in a biomechanics lab in Lawrence, Massachusetts (Molly and Greg have been there!) and only specialized shoe retailers like us are permitted to carry them.
Yes, we carry wides in many of our casual and some dress shoes for men and women. We carry up to 6E in men’s athletic shoes, and up to 4E in women’s athletic shoes.
Rotating the shoes you wear can help with your overall foot comfort, as long as your selection fits properly and are good for your feet. Rotating shoes allows the shoes to dry thoroughly and provides a better environment for your feet. If you only have one pair of comfortable shoes, wear those all of the time.
No, we do not make custom orthotics. We do have a selection of over-the-counter orthotics in many sizes available from Powerstep and Spenco. You’re welcome to try a pair in your shoes while you’re in the store.
